Hi, my name is Kaitlin Onyekwelu. I am a sophomore pre-med major here at FPU, and I'm also on the women's swim and dive team.
Q: When did you first fall in love with FPU?
I fell in love with FPU when I came here for a recruitment trip for swim in 2023. I remember the people on the campus being very nice and welcoming. Everybody that I walked past would say hello and smile. I really enjoyed the vibe of the campus. It felt like a very welcoming place to be and that's how I knew that this is where I wanted to go to Â鶹.
Q: What do you think makes FPU unique?
I think the tight-knit community makes our campus very unique. Everybody kind of knows everybody around campus and everybody's very kind. That's different from other Â鶹s where you don't really know people very well, or it's just kind of like a wave and then you pass by. Everybody's intentional with trying to talk to people and involve people on campus, which I really love.
Q: Can you share a fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about me is that I can recite the whole periodic table by heart.
